DISTILLED: “Luck of the Irish” – Whiskey Tasting and Live Music from High Country

Join us for the Keystone Neighbourhoods “Distilled” Speaker and Spirits Series on Saturday, March 18th!  “DISTILLED” shakes and blends educational topics of interest to our mountain community paired with spirits seminars from experts in the industry. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Warren Station with U.S. Irish Whiskey Ambassador Michael Eagan as he discusses the unique Irish Whiskeys he has hand selected for this tasting. After a day of skiing, what better way to relax than sipping world glass whiskey and listening to local music from Summit County’s own High Country. Tasting tickets include samples of all four bourbons and start at just $20 in advance on warrenstation.com.  In addition, there will be swag giveaways, and a full cash bar available!

Michael Eagan – Is the U.S. Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador for Kilbeggan Distilling Company at Beam Suntory. Michael Egan grew up in Raheny, Ireland. He received a BS in Tourism Marketing from the Dublin Institute of Technology, which gave him the opportunity to both study and work abroad. He gained experience while working at the Guinness Storehouse, which fueled his interest in Irish Whiskey and the distilling process. The art and craft that goes into its production is something that he was immediately drawn to.He believes that the Kilbeggan® Distilling Company’s portfolio has a whiskey that can satisfy anybody’s taste buds. And as brand ambassador, he’s excited to prove it.

High Country– Dru Griffin and High Country Colorado is a bluegrass band based in the high mountains of Colorado. Following in the footsteps of country music luminaries Bill Monroe and The Stanley Brothers, High Country Colorado continues to carve a sound akin to the high lonesome mountain tradition. Members of High Country: Dru Griffin (guitar), Kris Votruba (banjo), Michael Chevalier (fiddle), and Frank Wott (bass).
