Mal Hall is a comedian, host, and online personality known for his smooth delivery, sharp observations, and hilarious storytelling that connects across generations. Whether you’ve seen him on stage, on screen, or in your feed, Mal’s comedy has a way of feeling personal, relatable, and refreshingly human. Originally from San Diego, Mal has toured the country performing at hundreds of comedy clubs and colleges, and has shared the stage internationally as the main support act for Anjelah Johnson-Reyes and Alonzo Bodden. His television credits include FOX’s Laughs, AXS TV’s Mockpocalypse, and FuseTV’s Offbeat, and he was a finalist in NBC’s StandUp for Diversity showcase. Mal’s debut comedy special, The Ice Cream’s Not Ready, is a heartfelt and hilarious exploration of fatherhood, family, and growing up in a single-parent household. About the Opener: Sam Ellefson
Sam, now based in Denver, is originally from a suburb of a suburb in Minnesota. After he left small-town America for the Pacific Northwest, he started his comedy career with a grassroots comedy show in college that earned two Northwest Emmy Nominations (Which is not fake. It is a very real regional awards ceremony). Sam is the ultimate middle child whose down-to-earth Midwest storytelling style combines with his charm and quick wit to have you laughing hard in your seat. Sam’s comedy has been featured in festivals across the country including the prestigious High Plains Comedy Festival and he regularly works at some of the best clubs west of the Mississippi. He is a regular at the world famous Comedy Works in Denver and recently placed second at the 2024 Comedy Fort’s Funniest Competition. His debut comedy special “Minnesota Nice” was featured in Paste Magazine and is available now on YouTube.
