Get Stoked!: Music and Movie Series Presents a Locals Appreciation Night with Hobo Village
November 13 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm$5.00
Warren Station’s Get Stoked for Winter in Keystone – Locals Appreciation Night featuring a Trivia Competition followed by a concert from Hobo Village
Warren Station and the guys from Hobo Village want your help welcoming back winter to Keystone with a locals’ appreciation night. Folks have been cooped up for over a year, moving in a one-directional flow, keeping distanced from our loved ones and still wearing masks. We know it’s been tough, and we, like you, are ready to blow off some steam and get our thoughts focused on winter activities. Whether you ski, ride, glide, sled, skate, or snowshoe through the winter, we all share the same love for our community and our lifestyle. Let’s celebrate that love of winter together with our Get Stoked Local’s appreciation night!
Doors open at 6:00pm and the Get Stoked Trivia Battle starts at 6:30pm. You can sign up for trivia upon arrival. Sign-ups are first come first served, and no advance sign ups. Trivia space is limited to 10 teams of no more than 6 members each. With winter centric categories to keep your head in the pow, our emcee will guide us through 4-5 rounds with the winning team receiving a $75 bar tab at the Warren Station bar (Valid through the end of the event night only on 11/13). The Warren Station bar will be set up with the best drink specials in Summit County.
We are stoked to welcome Hobo Village to the stage to rock us into the night starting at 8:00pm. Grab your friends and neighbors and be sure to check out Scott’s Photo Booth and get a complimentary photo in the bar area.
While it may take a village to raise a child, it takes Hobo Village to raise the roof! Pulling equal inspiration from 70’s rock classics and modern heavy music, Summit County, CO’s Hobo Village plays a unique style of heavy psychedelic rock that hasn’t been heard in their High Rockies mountain community – until now!
Guitar solos, fuzz bass
and hard drumming, heavy riffing and creative improvisation shape Hobo Village’s sound. At times
soul-filled and sultry, at times scorching, Hobo Village lyrics and vocals bring audiences along into their mountain-living,
working stiff, always-partying way of life. Hobo Village’s high-energy live presentation of original music, as well as unique takes on old favorites – from Led Zeppelin to Kendrick Lamar, The Beatles to Alice in Chains, is not to be missed. Catch Hobo Village live to get the full
experience! Rock and roll at 10,780’ never sounded so good. The air may be thin, and the snow might be light, but the jams are
always heavy! If it’s too loud, you’re too old!
