Awesome bands will light up the Station on Saturday nights – a great place to see live music nestled on the Snake River at the base of Keystone Mountain.
River Spell is a Colorado-based band delivering heartfelt songwriting and extensive improvisation. River Spell’s journey began in 2022 when singer-songwriter, Grant Livingston, set out from Northern California with intention of establishing roots in Colorado and forming a band in the Rocky Mountains. After a year of touring through the West, Livingston landed in Nederland, Colorado. There he met local musicians Jake Demarco (bass) and Ben Maillaro (guitar), both active members of the Denver music scene from a young age. The musicians quickly hit it off, and began exploring and sharing their unique blend of folk, rock, funk, and improvisational music. Since their recent formation, River Spell has been gigging extensively throughout Colorado and beyond, establishing themselves in the music scene with their timeless, yet innovative blend of sounds. They’ve played venues and festivals across the U.S. and have shared the stage with acts such as Railroad Earth, Ghost Light, Tea Leaf Green, Holly Bowling, The Lil Smokies, CBDB, Jason Haan, and many more. River Spell is currently recording its debut album, which will be released in 2023 and will be accompanied by a U.S. tour.
