A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE: WEDDING WEBSITES (that help with planning your big day)

So you’re getting married. Congratulations on making the decision of a lifetime. Also, if you want time to fly by, getting engaged is a good way to make that happen. We have never seen a year fly by as fast as the year leading up to a couple’s big day. Planning can easily get away from you. Feeling panicky yet? Don’t worry, we are here to help. Being professionals in this industry, we have a few suggestions to make your planning as seamless as possible. There are three wedding websites that offer guides, vendor recommendations, and tips for your day, that we swear by.

The Knot

First, since you’re ready to tie the knot, it’s time to check out The Knot. This site allows you to create a free wedding website, create your wedding registry, as well as act as an endless source of wedding information. Couples can find blogs for every wedding aesthetic filled with ideas, tips, and current trends in the wedding scene. If that isn’t enough, The Knot also offers a budgeter. This program allows you to enter wedding budgets for all categories. There is even a handy planning app, that makes it easy to keep track of spending as you create your wedding vision. There are sections on their toolbar that allow you to create your timeline, guest list and have outsourced links to great and reliable vendors.

Wedding Wire

Though The Knot recently got hitched with Wedding Wire, we still recommend using the websites separately to get the most out of each one. Wedding Wire is a reliable source for vendor information and reviews no matter your location. They also offer a seating chart program, a schedule for your to-do’s before saying “I do”, and even a color palette generator. They also offer planning forums where you can get prior brides insight on situations that arise. You can expect to find real reviews on vendors that may save you from a bad apple in your planning process.

Not only can you find venue suggestions, vendor advice, and honeymoon recommendations but you also will find other wisdom. For example, you can use this website to find wedding shows in towns close to you. (If you play your cards right, you may get tickets for free.) Here Comes the Guide also has endless lists of tricks, tips, and suggestions for planning your wedding day.

We suggest to go to any of these aforementioned websites and start looking into what they have to offer. Their planning tools are enough to make any wedding day a breeze.  If you need more tips or vendor suggestions, click one of these links and read what we have to say.
