Having your wedding at a place like Keystone Resort has its perks.
The scenery is one of the biggest selling points, but to have lodging and dining right at your fingertips is unbeatable.
One common question we get from our couples is where to go for a rehearsal dinner. Being in a resort town, most restaurants are open later when in-season, and not only offer great food and excellent cocktails but amazing ambiance as well. This is perfect for your rehearsal dinner. Eliminating the need to drive to a restaurant for your dinner makes it easier to get all of your guests to one location. Here are a few of our favorite places to go for food and a drink, or two, or three that are mere steps from your room.
Kickapoo Tavern
Roughly 68 steps away from Warren Station. Kickapoo offers a bar and grill atmosphere, and local Colorado beers on tap. Their patio makes a perfect summertime hang out as well. The Kickapoo’s vibe is more relaxed over ‘hoity-toity’ making it a great location for a laidback rehearsal dinner. Their banquet menu is versatile and you can see it here.

Zuma Roadhouse
Zuma Roadhouse is known for its widespread cuisine, a killer Manhattan (among other awesome cocktails) and a fire pit out on the patio, a trifecta that makes this a perfect setting for a rehearsal dinner. They have seating for up to 75 people in the bar, 50 people can sit in the dining room. They even support the possibility of live music and dancing at your rehearsal dinner.

Luigi’s Pasta House
The centrally located source for house-made Italian food. Between the charcuterie layout and their extensive wine list, Luigi’s is a great location for your rehearsal dinner. Their restaurant can sit up to 70 guests, in a banquet style setting.

These are just three of the many dining options in Summit County. If you are open to leaving River Run Village at Keystone Resort for your rehearsal dinner here are a couple of places we swear by.
Sauce on the Blue
Located in Silverthorne has packages starting at $35 per head. Their specialty is hand-tossed made from scratch pizzas, but don’t let that stop you from trying their pasta dishes. Their outdoor patio backs the Blue River, and on a sunny day, you won’t even find a need to go inside.

Dillon Dam Brewery
A brewpub in Dillon perfect for any beer connoisseur is Dillon Dam Brewery. With enough notice, they will create a custom beer bomber label for your event! They have multiple menus to choose from, that you will find easily accessible on their website. Right off HWY 70 and a short 15-minute drive from Keystone Resort makes this an easy option for your rehearsal dinner experience.

2 Below Zero
Located in Frisco, and offers a unique spin on rehearsal dinners. During the winter months (November to April), they offer a cozy horse-drawn sleigh ride, followed by a 3-course meal. These rides also include live entertainment during dinner. Did we mention the peppermint schnapps hot chocolate for the way home? If you are getting married in the summer, no problem. They offer a chuck wagon ride, as well as a BBQ dinner, ending in a wild west show.

All in all, no matter what your style, Summit County has a rehearsal dinner location for you. Even our off-site recommendations are a short 15-minute drive away. Give any of the listed restaurants a call, and they will send you an updated banquet menu. If you’d like more tips, check out our catering post for some of our favorite wedding caterers.
